What is the the "Curve Zone"?
The Curve Zone is that "what the hey" reading material floating around on the internet. It's a blend of humor and introspection. The Curve Zone is a hybrid of blogging, poorly drawn comics, and the occasional photograph.
Why the Name?
The author of the Curve Zone is, well, curvy. Instead of wallowing in despair while bowing over a toilet in an attempt to get thin, or whining that there's no low-fat yogurt- the author decided to work on being healthier but in mind as much as body. Curve Zone refers to the curves on a woman's body- thus the "Caution, Curvy" slogan. But it's really about the way life throws us all sorts of curves. Curves are our waistlines, our jobs, our loud neighbors, and all those other things that can discourage and annoy us. The point of the Curve Zone is to embrace and make fun of those very things. It's about being who you are.
The "Fat Chick" That Writes This Blog:
I am a twenty seven year old living in the American Midwest. I started the Curve Zone after I finished my MBA. Life after college was certainly not what I had hoped for- and I was living life in the last lane. I resolved to sit back, enjoy the view, and start working on some dreams I had been neglecting. I generally don't dish out personal details on this blog- I'm still hunting for a better career and I don't want this blog to work against me.
